Eren

In this first offering of Something Real, Eren shares a story of identity, belonging, love, queerness, masculinity, and the ongoing work of becoming more fully oneself.

Moving between the Bahamas and the United States, family and chosen life, love and loss, masculinity and vulnerability, Eren reflects on what it has meant to carve out space for a life that could hold more of who they are. Their story moves through naming and being seen, immigration, marriage, heartbreak, accountability, and the sometimes tender work of meeting parts of ourselves we are still learning how to know.

This is not a story tied neatly at the edges. It is a story still being lived.

This is Eren.

Something Real
Eren

Eren Cooper (she/they) is a Bahamian storyteller, content creator, and host of Unbuttoned Live. Originally from Eleuthera, Bahamas and now based in Houston, Eren creates space for honest conversations about identity, relationships, self-love, and the experiences of masculine-presenting queer people. Through humor, vulnerability, and shared stories, Eren invites people to feel seen and find community. When not editing or hosting, you can find Eren digging through vinyl records, thrifting for the next great find, or spending time with their cat, Maggie.
